Membership Grows With PRDC
The VAFCC is excited to announce its newest associate member, Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic (PRDC). PRDC is a nonprofit dental safety net clinic that serves patients of with or without dental insurance by providing exams, cleanings, sealants, extractions, and fillings. Founded in 2011, PRDC has worked closely with the Free Clinic of Culpeper, the Madison Free Clinic, and the Orange County Free Clinics for some time. This synergy is a key part in PRDC's mission. When asked why the became members of the VAFCC, they responded with, “We value the work of free clinics - to improve health and wellness - and want to be more connected to this network. The more we work together, the more we will be able to help those who need us most,” shared Clinic Manager Mikayla Ciuffo.
Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic joins into a membership of almost 60 free and charitable clinics across the state working towards a Virginia where all people have access to comprehensive, quality healthcare. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Richmond, the VAFCC is celebrating 30 years of serving as an effective advocate for the issues and concerns of free and charitable clinics, their volunteer workforce, and the vulnerable patients served by free and charitable clinics through the Commonwealth.
