Comprehensive Harm Reduction Service Navigator

Health Brigade (HB) is seeking a full- time CHR Service Navigator. Health Brigade expects individuals to have a strong work ethic and commitment to our mission and values. This is a full-time, office and field based position. Settings for CHR programming are varied, including different mobile locations in the community and on-site at clinic. This position will be primarily responsible for substance use and Hepatitis C treatment navigation for CHR participants. This position works collaboratively across agency teams, interns and volunteers. The Service Navigator primary functions include, but are not limited to: completing intake documentation, providing ongoing assessment, and navigating clients to substance use and Hepatitis C treatment services while using a harm reduction approach. The ideal candidate has experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma and working with diverse and underrepresented clients including members of the LGBTQIA community. Candidate will be expected to keep accurate and timely records of appointments (e.g., intake notes, progress notes, termination summaries) using HB’s Electronic Medical Record; maintain confidentiality of records; and follow all grant requirement pursuant to assessment and data collection. Bilingual Registration Navigator

Peer Recovery Specialist

Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) - Full-time. Utilizes personal lived experience to support the recovery journey of persons seeking recovery from substance use. Connects participants with appropriate resources based on individual self-care plans. Must be in successful and ongoing recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges for at least one year, or have at least one year as a family member supporting a loved one with mental health and/or substance use challenges. Must complete DBHDS 72-hour Peer Recovery Specialist training. Accumulation of 500 hours of experience providing peer support services may be completed on the job. Completion of certification exam required. High school diploma/GED required. Must abide by PRS code of ethics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed. Phlebotomist

Health Brigade, formerly Fan Free Clinic is seeking a full time Phlebotomist to conduct confirmatory blood draws across several of our testing programs, mainly our syringe exchange program. Candidates must already be trained in phlebotomy and provide proof of training. The successful candidate will have knowledge of, and be comfortable working with diverse populations, including but not limited to communities of color, LGBTQ communities, low income communities and people who inject drugs (PWID).
