VAFCC Welcomes the Guadalupe Free Clinic of Colonial Beach as Full Clinic Member.

The Guadalupe Free Clinic of Colonial Beach is now a full member clinic in the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (VAFCC). A mark of distinction, this membership level not only reflects a commitment to serving our state's sickest and most vulnerable, but also demonstrates meeting best practice membership standards attesting to the clinic's soundness in nonprofit management and patient care.

“The volunteers, staff and Board of Directors at the Guadalupe Free Clinic have a deep devotion to their mission and ultimately those in need in their community,” states Rufus Phillips, VAFCC CEO. “This dedication is evident by the success of the clinic in unselfishly serving vulnerable individuals and families, especially in the past several years during the COVID-19 pandemic in which the clinic stepped up to provide critical public health services and information.”

Additionally, Lance Carrington, the Executive Director with the Guadalupe Free Clinic of Colonial Beach affirms that “full membership with the VAFCC enhances the clinic's capabilities, thereby, providing our current and future patients with highly professional, all-encompassing, completely free healthcare. I look forward to our clinic's future with the VAFCC which will provide tremendous support in our efforts to achieve our very important mission."
