The open enrollment period for Plan Year 2026 officially began November 1 and Virginians can shop on Virginia's Insurance Marketplace for their health insurance through January 30. The Commonwealth's official platform for browsing, comparing, and purchasing health plans, the marketplace is a resource for Virginians who are unemployed, self-employed, do not have access to insurance options through their employer, or have lost their Medicaid coverage.
Virginia's Insurance Marketplace is the Commonwealth's official health insurance marketplace where Virginians can shop for, compare, and purchase health insurance plans with comprehensive coverage. Its mission is to reduce the number of the uninsured in the Commonwealth by encouraging enrollment in communities across the Commonwealth.
