VAFCC Welcomes New Staff Member

Join us in welcoming, Jim Henley, our newest staff member!
Jim Henley recently joined the Virginia Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (VAFCC) in the role of Office Administrator this summer. In this role, he will support the mission of the association by administering the VAFCC's finances, performing general office duties and providing both administrative and project support to the CEO, other staff, and various constituents.
 
Jim comes to VAFCC with over 25 years of experience in office, operational, and business management. Prior to joining the VAFCC, Jim served as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Richmond's Department of Social Services. Other former roles include East Coast Area Manager for Greyhound as well as a Multi-unit Manager of Dollar General Stores. He's a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where he double majored in Marketing and Urban & Regional Studies.
 
Jim has traveled the East Coast extensively during his professional career and has lived in Richmond, Charlotte, NC, Washington, DC, Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA. When Jim is not working, he is a major sports fan. He enjoys good music, reading, writing, playing the piano, and drawing.
