VAFCC Membership
The presence of the VAFCC Member Badge on a clinic’s platform signifies that the organization is a recognized member of the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. Membership in the VAFCC is more than an affiliation it is:
-
a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to Virginia’s uninsured and underinsured populations
-
recognition of beig part of a unified network of 70 clinics working to broaden healthcare access across the Commonwealth
-
dedication to the belief that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, regardless of an individual's ability to pay
The VAFCC offers two levels of membership:

Full Member: any 501(c)3 organization whose primary mission is to provide health care services to individuals in Virginia who have limited income and are uninsured or underinsured and meets the VAFCC Membership Standards.

Associate Member: any 501(c)3 organization that meets the definition of a free clinic and is interested in the services and support provided by the VAFCC but does not meet all the VAFCC Membership Standards.
The VAFCC is the only organization in Virginia solely dedicated to supporting free and charitable clinics that serve as the healthcare safety net for our most vulnerable neighbors. We provide our members with advocacy, resource development, and professional training to ensure their doors remain open to those in need.
