The Life Blood of Clinics
Volunteers are the life blood of our member clinics who would not be able to provide the high quality care they do to the underserved without the incredible support of volunteers.
Many volunteers choose to support their local clinics for years, finding joy and fulfillment in helping others by giving their time and talents to help make a difference. Health care professional volunteers are always needed but clinics also need help with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. That means if you have got some time to share, they'll put you to work!

Kathy, Nurse Practitioner, CrossOver Healthcare Ministry
"A good day is when I'm able to help a patient become a partner in their own healthcare. They make the difference. The key is being honest. I tell hem that I'm here for them, but there are things they need to do to help themselves so I can help them."
Larry Newark, Spanish Interpreter, CrossOver Healthcare Ministry
"I'm retired from commercial banking, and this is a lot more fun and rewarding in a very different way. A good day here is a busy one, and all the days are busy. The clients are wonderful people. They are so appreciative of the help we can offer them."
Chelsea Jackson, CNA and VCU Student, CrossOver Healthcare Ministries
"The staff is so engaging and supportive, and they've offered to help me as far as my future goes. I'd like to be a Physician's Assistant. I learn something new every time I'm here."
