VAFCC Membership Continues to Grow
Seeing unprecedented growth in 2023, the VAFCC is thrilled to announce a pair of new associate members:
Located in Richmond, Glacier Health and Development Center (GHDC) focuses on patient's mental health, providing a holistic approach to patient treatment. Founded in 2020, GHDC is working towards a world where individuals have access to the resources and systems that support mental health and sustainable relationships.
Returning to the VAFCC after a brief membership hiatus, People in Need Ministries (PiN) is located in Virginia Beach. Focused on serving the homeless population in the Hampton Roads, PiN utilizes four pillars for their services: medical, training, recovery, and housing. With their new medical clinic, PiN is able to provide telehealth and physical therapy in addition to basic medical screenings and lab work.
Both of these clinics join into an association of more than 60 free and charitable clinics across the state Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Richmond, the VAFCC is celebrating 30 years of serving as an effective advocate for the issues and concerns of free and charitable clinics, their volunteer workforce, and the vulnerable patients served by free and charitable clinics throughout the Commonwealth.
