VAFCC Welcomes Wease Aboard
Join us in welcoming new staff member Matt Wease to VAFCC.
Please join us in welcoming Matt Wease, who started with the VAFCC last week in the position of Marketing Communications Coordinator. In this role, he will serve as a key resource for marketing and communications working closely with the VP and other key staff to implement strategic organizational communications. This is a new position for the VAFCC created to help staff build on the success created and momentum experienced over the past several years in both the associations internal and external marketing and communications on behalf of our members and the vulnerable patients they serve.
Matt comes to the VAFCC after spending five years in Minor League baseball front offices in Richmond and Frederick, MD as a Community Relations Coordinator and on field emcee. He received his degree in Sociology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg where his studies focused on marginalized populations. When not in the office, he can be found rooting for the White Sox, testing a new board game, quizzing locals, and playing with his dog.
